Dorchester Abbey is on the edge of the village of Dorchester-on-Thames which
is well sign-posted and just off the A4074. It is about 11 miles from junction 6 of the M40.
Coming from the north along the M40 there is no exit at junction 7; you should therefore come
off at junction 8 and follow signs to Wallingford and Stadhampton (A329). You will run
parallel to the motorway from junction 8 to junction 7, and then turn right onto the A329.
